The Holidays are finally upon us, and do you know what that means? Holiday parties!

MORPHIC BEAUTY: KESNIA

Emi was inspired by Kesnia's fair skin to create a flawless complexion. Even winter skin can have a sun kissed glow, just in a softer version! On her eyes, Emi went for a smokey sultry in a palette of matte blacks and grays highlighted with pale blush tones. It's high impact, without being over the top. To add a little holiday spirit, a pop of light silver shimmer covers the almond shape of the lid, and in the inner corners of the eye. It's paired with a cranberry red lip to really give that festive touch. 

Bolder makeup called for simpler hair, so Mishi polished off Kesnia's look with a great natural-looking wave that'll look great all night. Fabulous, don't you think? 

MORPHIC BEAUTY: ADITI

On Aditi,  Emi wanted to create something more toned down. This look proves that you can make a more natural version of a smokey eye! Her amazing full lips are finished with a berry mauve. 

To balance the more natural tones of the face, Mishi took the great texture of Aditi's long and dark locks into full-curl mode, creating a full head of thick, amazingly touchable ringlets.

Olaplex

Have you heard of Olaplex yet?

We want to make sure you're always getting the latest in haircare technology, so we couldn't overlook this new industry bad boy. This is the perfect product when you want to go blonde, or when you want to sport a color that only exists in a crayola box. Say goodbye to fried hair forever!

How does it work?
There are three parts to getting your hair bleached to perfection. Olaplex 1 & 2 are taken care of in the salon and will eliminate breakage from your color service. First, the Bond Multiplier is mixed with the lightner. After all hair coloring is finished and rinsed, the Bond Perfector is added for 5 mins to seal the deal.

Olaplex 3 is a take-home product for you to use once a week to strengthen hair further. It can also be used as a pre-treatment for future chemical services.

What’s so great about Olaplex?
Free of silicone or oils, Olaplex links broken bonds in the hair during and after chemical services making them stronger than they were before.

Will it work for my hair texture?
YES!  Its works for Asian, Caucasian, Latina, African American, previously chemically processed and virgin hair.

How can you add it to your service?
You can have it as an add on service, a royale, or as a stand alone.

Parking Day

HAVE YOU HEARD ABOUT PARKING DAY IN SAN FRANCISCO?

Parking Day is an annual worldwide event where artists, designers and citizens transform metered parking spots into temporary public parks that Morphic has been participating in for the last 4 years. We have always done a Braid Bar that allows for the public to get BRAIDS complimentary. This year continued the tradition of surprises, stories and braids that make you wish you could have Brenda the Braider and Mishi as your personal home braiders!

This year we had the chance to meet people through funcheap (love you guys!) and The Bold Italic (love you just as much!) who had amazing stories/travels to share while sitting for a braid! CBS and The Bold Italic were even nice enough to give us a tip of the hat!

These lovely ladies were some of our first clients of the day, and later on, they sent every lady in their office to us! We appreciate their support and we loved the snacks Bonnie brought by later! She knows the way to our hearts is good food!

This gorgeous mama visited us for some much needed me-time while her adorable and sassy toddler slept!

Morphic has moved!

We are still at the lovely Sola Studios @ 660 Market, but we've got a bigger space! You can now find us in suite 226, in the opposite corner from our old studio.
