Hi Emi Nova here! I thought I would take a minute to introduce myself. I’m Mishi’s sister, and your new guide to the world of Morphic Beauty. I’ll be here sharing all the things we are doing in the salon and more! I’m hoping to inspire you with posts on our product favorites, style tips, iconic fashion heros, the latest trends in fashion, and everything in between. I am here to share with you all our tips and tricks!

First, let me tell you a little bit about myself. I love fashion and everything that comes with it. In fact I am a bit obsessed... from the hottest shoes and handbags, to hair products that give you sexy hair, and the hot tools required to get the look. Oh and did I mention makeup? This is my forte - the love of my life - something which I have devoted almost a decade of my life playing with, creating and beautifying all the lovely clients that sit in my chair My profession as a makeup artist began years ago when I attended Toni and Guy Hair Academy. From there I pursued my career with such salons and companies as Aveda, Stila Cosmetics, Bobby Brown, Shu Uemura and Guerlain. Their philosophies and mission have shaped me as an artist in creating beauty at its best in class, style and perfection. I have grown with a phenomenal collection of makeup pioneers and am now grateful to share with you my expertise and love in the world of beauty.

cut vs color?

People are always wondering which I like more cut or color? I love doing both equally. Its more satisfying to do a complete total makeover. I think that balayage and ombre is what I'm most known for since it is my specialty. But I see it that the cut has to support the color. For the color to look fresh the cut must be fresh. They should complement one another by highlighting and softening/ strengthening the features of my subject, the face.

stop waiting and make it happen

Did you know that the first thing that people notice about you is your hair?  So why wait for me to morph you into the beautiful person who's hair is the envy of everyone?

As your personal hair advocate, I have a few strands of wisdom I'd like share with you:

Hair is the ultimate accessory, and it's the only one you wear everyday. So...

...there is no need to wait for the hair you deserve

...you are too beautiful to discount yourself when it comes to your hair, and

...life is too short, so live it with the best hair possible!

Without paying attention -  everyone is always paying attention.  Typically when we describe one another, after ethnicity, we describe the haircut, color, and texture of the individual.  It goes to the root of our subconscious mind, to a completely primal place in the core of our being.  This isn't about being vain,  hair is a biologic trait of being human, and core to how we present ourselves to the world.  Hair is symbolic as it defines where we stand in terms of beauty, age, and fashion.

So, really - do you need any more justification than this? I didn't think so. Stop waiting, and book your Morphic appointment today.
