A Morphic Bride

morphicbride

New York vs. San Francisco, East Coast vs. West? Not at Morphic. We strive to create both "New York" fashion-forward looks, and "California" natural, laid-back looks. Here are two models representing each look. And whatever side or style you are drawn to, we hope you can see a little bit of yourself in our beautiful brides!

A note on our collaborators:

We’re pretty fond of bringing a stellar team together to create magic, and we went even bigger this time around by bringing in dresses and florists. It was incredibly creatively fulfilling to work with talented local vendors who wanted to create something that spoke to the wedding nerd in us all. A big thank you to the whole team.

Collaborators:
Dresses by Alt Brides
Flowers by Mission de Flores (Natural Bride) and LaBodega Flora (Fashion Forward Bride)

Morphic at Bridal Week in NYC

Sourced from the designer Rita Vinieris

Morphic was once again backstage for a NY runway doing what we love most...the hair. This time it was all about bridal and Mishi picked up a couple of lessons from the backstage that we urge you try out.

Enjoy the look.

Runway Looks 101

1. Slicked backed ponytails are in this season.

2. embrace yourself in your dress and stand tall.

Thanks for sharing Mishi.

Mishi gets married

There are many ways one can choose to get married these days. Destinations, elopements, churches and theatrical events are all fair game! Match the event to your personal style, and you can't go wrong.

When Mishi and her other half Earl were tasked with the responsibility, they chose Costa Rica for the big day. It was an absolute whirlwind 2 weeks filled with family, surfing, fishing, and of course, great food! They topped it off with a sunset ceremony and reception, where all the guests ended up in the pool!

Now that Mishi has taken the plunge herself, she has some advice—on hair, planning, and chilling out—for all the brides-to-be out there. Sit back, relax and enjoy a Morphic wedding...

MISHI'S MUST-HAVE ADVICE:

Be seen! Think about where you're standing for the ceremony when styling your hair! Usually, brides are on the left, so if you're wearing your hair down, you'll want to part to the right to be seen. Though if you're feeling shy, maybe a left part is for you!

Rock your curls. Having your ceremony along the coast or in a foggy area? You'll have to embrace your curls. The weather surely will!

Plan!  If you're having a destination wedding, I would highly suggest getting a wedding planner. Ours made sure to secure all the details that we didn't even think of or could even take care of before we got there!

FOOD! Choose amazing food for your reception, because it makes everyone happy. Happy guests make for an even happier wedding.

Surrender! Hand your phone, email and book planner over to a friend for the day.  Enjoy marrying your one and only in front of all the people you love.

The Romantic bride

The Romantic Bride

Here at Morphic, we love a romantic bride! We've been discussing the elements that really bring that special oomph—from the hair to the makeup. The romantic bride is intricate braids, elegant updos and cascading waves. A natural makeup look is essential, though occasionally a bold lip is just the ticket!

We'd love to create your romantic bridal look!

Much Love,
Team Morphic

ARE YOU READY TO GET BOHO?

Wedding Season is here! It's much like baseball season, except much more stylish. But, that's just in my humble opinion.

This year, we want to show you a few of our favorite looks, starting with the Bohemian Bride! The boho look is all about flow and natural, so we pulled out plenty of flowers for this shoot! Our models Allegra Dimperio and Sadaf Malik rocked it! We had such a great time!

Make sure to contact the salon for your wedding hair bookings.

Much Love,
Team Morphic
